Luna Beauty Studio

Turning a DM-heavy booking experience into a clearer, more professional path from inspiration to appointment request.

Transparency note

This is a concept project created to demonstrate process and design thinking. It is not a paid client engagement and does not claim real-world business results.

The challenge

The challenge

A beauty business can do excellent work and still lose time answering the same questions in DMs: pricing, length, shape, availability, removals, inspiration, and what to book. The concept starts by treating that friction as a website problem, not just a visual-design problem.

Direction

The approach

I would lead with the work, then make services and booking requirements easy to understand before the customer reaches the form. The visual direction stays expressive enough for a beauty brand while the customer path stays simple and mobile-first.

01

Show the work early

Let strong visuals create interest before asking the visitor to read a long explanation.

02

Explain booking before the form

Put service choices, prep notes, and common questions where customers naturally need them.

03

Make inspiration part of the flow

Design the booking request around the information the artist actually needs, including room for an inspiration image.

Experience

Customer path

  1. 01

    Discover

A visitor lands from social media and immediately sees the style of work.

  2. 02

    Choose

Services, basic expectations, and booking options are easy to compare.

  3. 03

    Prepare

The visitor knows what information or inspiration to have ready.

  4. 04

    Request

A focused appointment request captures the details needed for a useful response.

Why it exists

What this concept demonstrates

This page is about the decisions behind the design, not invented performance numbers.

  • Visual direction that matches the business instead of a generic salon template
  • A customer journey built around real appointment questions
  • Mobile-first thinking for social-media traffic
  • Clear separation between visual inspiration and booking information
